Dragonfly experiment
Lomogram_2014-09-09_04-43-29-PM by burnaby66, on Flickr
Taken and edited on a smartphone,I wanted a Victorian" specimen photo" look, as much an experiment as anything else, not everyone's glass of Gallo, but an enjoyable exercise all the same.

Re: Dragonfly experiment
I'd say 'mission accomplished' Tim.
I think you've done an excellent job with this image and if that's all smartphone...wow!

Re: Dragonfly experiment
Thanks chaps, I have a Nokia Lumia, and the apps I used were, Lomogram+ and Picsart, both free downloads, picsart was used for the Stenciler paper effect, plus the border overlay, and lomogram for the distressed/vignette effect.

Re: Dragonfly experiment
Very impressive Tim. No wonder 'they' are saying that the days of the point and shoot are numbered.
--- Thanks for viewing, Mike
I always welcome critique of my images but prefer to try recommended edits myself.

Re: Dragonfly experiment
Thanks for you comments Mike.
Yes phone cameras have come on in leaps and bounds, and the apps available allow you to do almost anything, but as much as I enjoy experimenting with them, I love my cameras, both film and digital and an iphone could never replace them
