Lazarus Pit

Been meaning to get some more added in here for a while, having a nice new IR converted camera should help :-)

Re: Lazarus Pit

Interesting, graphic, very crisp.

I noticed that you had snared that IR conversion elsewhere. It is a D7000, no?

Ditto

?I wouldn't have known that this was infra red, as it looks like a 'normal' image to me.

?in what way does it present differently to a conventional image/how is it different?

Re: Lazarus Pit

Thanks chaps.

It is a D7000, been meaning to upgrade the D70s for a while now as i wanted to start taking more infrared photos.
Had a D7000 a while back, good little cameras, hopefully the IR conversion will make it even better.

I took a few IR shots and a few normal B&W shots at this location. The IR camera deals with the harsh light differences better. The pit was pretty dark and the sky obviously bright. It was hard getting the balance between the two right with my 'normal' camera.
The IR camera seems to like the harsh differences.

Re: Lazarus Pit

Thanks for the further info Tony. For me it gives the best justification so far for using infra redemoticon
