A bit of "clean" fun

Could not help but notice these two images this morning, something I have seen hundreds of times but never "seen" them.

First is a clean machine and the second one will get you all in a spin!!

Very well seen Richard and equally well edited. I like them both a lot.

Yes - interesting shapes and great tones.

For me a square crop would probably be better.

A third similar shot (not sure of what thoughemoticon) would make a good triptych for a sales showroom

How about an old fashioned mangle or scrubbing board - old to new?
Cheers Chris

Beautiful rendering of the metallic tones.

This sort of thing Richard? [sign in to see URL]

There was a zinc scrubbing board just out of shot but I wasn't allowed to move it to complete the set with the 'peggy tub', 'peggy stick', 'posser' and mangle - miserable bureaucrats.

A grab shot in our local museum some eight years ago. Apart from the parquet floor and the long case clock this could have been my parents kitchen some 70 years ago!

Thanks Keith, I remember one of those torture machines in my mum's yard. I was always trying to persuade my sister to put her fingers in so I could………………..:-)

As Keith said, beautifully rendered metallic tones and full marks for seeing the potential in the first place.
