Re: Morston-Muddy Steps
Maybe change the title if that's the point of interest?

Re: Morston-Muddy Steps
i find the mud a little too dark Simon, shouldn't it be lighter?
As for the Freelander, I got one so bound to like it:-)
Happy New Year!

maybe it be maybe it bain't- whom knoweth
Not important enough to matter
I personally like the way my eye wanders round and ends up on the steps but does it work for you guys, at all, in any way....?

Happy New Year!
I think I wanted it dark as when I did it first I liked the very darkness of it and probably the fact that it was actually getting dark influenced me, this is a 30 sec exposure by the way , so I sorts wanted to convey the lateness of the light and make it moody...gone too far you think?
lighter or not to lighter that is the question.... I will post a lighter version later -- see what you think - above version is actually lighter than it was in the original exposure here......

Re: Morston-Muddy Steps
here it is with some simple exposure increase at the bottom-This one with just exposure increase at bottom is ok..... I Think....(is it keeping the mood???) The problem I have with it is that it seems to keep the eye in the lower part of the image more than Id like ...does it have this effect for you??
and here with same plus clarity added
Personally the last has become too literal a rendition and loses the mood, for me anyway, but Id like to hear what you think..

Re: Morston-Muddy Steps
I much prefer the last edit Simon, and I can see the muddy steps and the image still has plenty of mood.
Happy New Year to you and yours too.
