Re: Escalator

I think this is quite good, and well processed. I don't have a problem with the viewpoint - it isn't like one of Tony's very effective, emptily brooding central shots, this is, as you say, about the two figures, who are beautifully posed.

As with Keith, the sign is the only thing that jars with me, though I could suggest the removing the lean and uprighting it (Select/All - Edit/Distort, then pull out the lower rh corner a bit, until the rh wall is properly upright, probably followed by Deselect, then, using the Marquee tool, select just the sign, and repeat File/Distort until it is straight, followed by a bit of tidying up)

Re: Escalator

Thanks - yes I will be spending a a bit more time on this one, including trying what you suggest which wouldn't have been my first thoughts on approaching it but is worth trying - thanks.

Re: Escalator

Thanks Allen.

On balance I prefer the revised version. But that may be because generally I subscribe to the'if its not good enough you're not close enough' schoolemoticon

Re: Escalator

Excellent Chris, very clever removal job. The silvery, metallic tones in this work so well.
