Mike, it is quite a small item in the photograph and, therefore a lot of enlargement. Apart from sharpening and a bit of tone adjustment here and there, there is a touch of selective blur.

Interesting image, to me it looks like one of those lifts that goes up the outside of an American building , or is that me emoticon
