Glass, wine ,lamp

The shapes originally caught my eye, followed by some experimenting, lost track of what I actually did to get to this emoticon

Well you certainly didn't drink the wine.

Thanks for viewing, Mike

I always welcome critique of my images but prefer to try recommended edits myself.

The shapes and the geometry (and also the lack of it in detail) are interesting Tim, I like the soft texture too. Doesn't look much like Chianti, but I realise of course that that is beside the point!

Thanks Gents, during the experimenting process I inverted the colours , ie Blacks turn white etc, hence the Chianti looking like a glass of white Gallo ,or is that swearing emoticon emoticon

An additional comment .....

..... This is just the sort of artistic still life that I would like to do - my previous efforts - over a year ago - were more akin to product photography than fine art.

And when i have got something i like, then I fully expect a judge to give it a low score when I enter it in a club competitionemoticon

I know the feeling, on a few occasions I have entered similar images in club competitions, only for the judge to anounce at the beginning that his favourite subject is traditional landscapes! hey ho, emoticon

I wish I could turn water into wine Mike, I would have a wine rack like no other, Chateauneuf du pape, Chateau Lafite 1865, Aldi Burgundy 2014, Lambrini, ah yes, emoticon
