After all editing is done - Duplicate image Flatten all layers Resize for desired output size @ 360ppi Duplicate background Layer Apply High Pass Sharpen (Radius 1.9) and change Blend Mode to Hard Light Apply White Mask to Sharpen Layer and Paint in Black where you do not want the effect (skies etc) Then Print nondisclosed_email@example.com (IanBarber)Wed, 09 Sep 2015 14:07:07 +0000 Sharpening and resizing for print-againhttps://bthedigitalmonochromeforum.runboard.com/p2041404,from=rss#post2041404https://bthedigitalmonochromeforum.runboard.com/p2041404,from=rss#post2041404sorry I keep coming back to this but I don't print very often and am easily confused! Martin said to resize in Imageprint (which I will be using to print) but Im not sure what to do about sharpening as thats supposed to be done at the print final size isn't it? So I am trying to resize the image, in this case to 9x6 inches but it west the pip to 640 or something instead of 360 which the Epson is supposed to have. once Id managed to size to print size I was going THEN to sharpen and save to my 9x6 imaheprint folder Any advice on how best to resize (and sharpen) pleasenondisclosed_email@example.com (Digital Finger)Wed, 09 Sep 2015 10:52:49 +0000
