Norman2 recently posted an image of Trafalgar Square, and wanted to attempt to date the picture, back when the image was recorded there was no automatic method of storing the relevant information connected to the shot other that pen and paper, just got me thinking how much easier it is today with the advent of digital world that we live in...

Observe, stop, think, shoot, record .. an unbeatable workflow. Automation is fine whilst it works but shortcuts have their pitfalls.
