Thanks, Tim. Very often the colours in these old slides have become distorted and, therefore, black & white is the best way to appreciate the artistry.

I agree Norman ,B&W versions can work very well, most of my photo's are taken in
colour,( digital ) I then have the choice to convert them into B&W , and quite often some of the vibrant colour images actually look better when converted to B&W and tweaked a little.
