House Martin leaving nest

This is the third of three images I would appreciate some comments on. I realise now that if I wait until I am happy to post, I never, but I am having problems deciding on when something is "right" so though it useful to share. All processed in Capture One at the moment.

Its from a small section of the original file, and although I like the slight Bill Brandt look (though I'm not sure he ever photographed birds) I don't like the halo round the head. It is there on the original but the processing has accentuated it.

Image

Thanks for looking,

Graham

An unusual shot, his head and line of his body is in line with the angle of the roof timber if you get my drift, nice one.

Thanks, and yes, I do get your drift. It was one of those shots that I rather liked but the bird was very small in the frame (and underexposed) and this is where I ended up with it.

Cheers,

Graham
