Looks amazing, like an entrance to another world....good composition with the stigma and stamen slightly off center, nice tonality to the picture as well,

I'll try it.
Firstly I apologize for my english.
The flower is a blue morning glory. In the following link you can see the flower:

The lower part of the flower is almost white as you can see. That's why that part of it looks so bright.
I placed the flower over a table and held it with a clamp.
Lighting was done with side light from a window.
The camera used was a Canon G11 in macro mode and the picture was taken from 10 cm.
I did several shots with different exposures and chose the best for editing.
Finally, I cut the sides to carry it on square format.
I hope I could make myself clear with this explanation.
