I think you like photographing wood, Ian, especially if the wood has a good grain. Grain and wood might make an interesting project.

Yes - it's ages since I did any still life and I remember that it can be difficult to get glass looking good like this, because of all the reflections.

And with still life such as this there is nothing and no-one else to blame if you don't get it right - and this is spot onemoticon.
