Voigtländer Bessa RF

Another of my Classic collection the Voigtländer Bessa coupled Rangefinder 6x9.

This is my second Bessa RF, built around 1937 a great camera to use and very small considering the large 6x9 negative it uses, this one has the Braunschweig Heliar f3.5 lens, in the picture you see it with the Yellow filter in place.

Part of the Heliar's love by collectors is related to Japanese Emperor Hirohito, who is claimed to have so admired the Heliar lens, that he would only allow his picture to be taken with a Heliar.

Here are a couple of shots from the weekend documenting the streets and alley ways of Otley West Yorkshire.

The negatives are so big that you can crop to square without much loss in quality.
