Stairway to . . . .?

My interpretation of an old commercial colour slide of somewhere in the old quarter of San Remo on the Italian Riviera.

Nice gritty scene Norman

I like this - for me it has lots of atmosphere.

It occurs to me Norman ...... There could be a really interesting collection combining your reworking of old slides with a modern image of the same scene.

My next holidays are in Valencia (in May) and Conegliano, well north of Venice, (in September) so if you agree and have any that might be suitable let me knowemoticon

Or for more local scenes Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire areas are possibles.

Thank you very much, Martin, I feel more confident in what I am doing thanks to the help and encouragement.

That's a very good idea, Chris, and I will have a look as I go through the oldies. Perhaps there are other members of the forum who might like the idea and care to join in, this could be fun.

Oh yes ,love this one, what atmosphere, and again,it has that lovely unique old film look.
This image has a timeless quality to it, its well composed ,gritty and grainy and all the better for it.

This does work well Norman. It really does have that timeless, authentic feel to it.
