Re: Nap time

LOL!

I had quite a few like that! (on film)

the juxtaposition with the sculpture is what makes it though, and I like the way my eye finally finds the distant bright steps,

parks are wonderful for people pics arent they ? My favourite times are when theres a festival or gig or something else going on that makes people less aware about you snapping them (not that this chap is lol )
I have had comments about the 'poor soul' that is the subject of this sort of pic before and perhaps there is a line between what simply becaomes a document to tragedy and what is something else, i this case, humour

Like it

He rolled over right after I pushed the shutter. I just couldn't believe how much he was repeating the shape of sculpture.

Re: Nap time

capturing that 'decisive moment' or rathe being fast enough to get what you have seen , is a major part of the challege isnt it?

thenamonut of times I have nearly caught big one only to see it swim away.....

I to date have only udsed my main one single camera, usually witha 50mm lens, but sonce the AF died I have been trying my wifes compact.

it is lovely and unobstrusive but dreadfully sloww to focus and zoom .and start up.

Can I borrow your leica MM for a couple of years?
