Lytro Illum, part two

OK, I took the ^%$#@! thing out for a few shots, but that doesn't work. I hate to admit it, but for once I will have to read the f*cking manual.

This thing is COMPLEX.

When watching the movies on Vimeo it looks simple, but once you get to it, it is rather daunting. Or I'm getting old.

The software to process the output (OMG ... 100Mb for 1 (one!) capture) is also a bit ... well ... not totally "thought through".

Or written by Americans and suddenly my European English is less than adequate.

So, still no shots on the forum.

?maybe the main message at this stage is that they (Lytro) are still getting there?

Now let's hope the "steep curve" isn't "out of the window".

Nah, it's fun to have a camera that is actually totally beyond all lessons learned. I'll take it slowly.

Will keep you posted.
