Stainforth Force
Just a section of the small falls at Stainforth in Ribblesdale Yorkshire Dales

Re: Stainforth Force
A real beauty, Martin. How long was the exposure?

Re: Stainforth Force
This is one of my favourite IR images. I think what makes it complete is the water not being completely blurred, but taken with the most appropriate shutter speed to convey just the right amount of movement. Nice one Martin.

Re: Stainforth Force
Yes, perfect shutter speed. I just wish there were some in-focus rocks on the rhs as on the left, not just to pull the composition together, but also to remove an impression of the image being out of focus at the lower right.

Re: Stainforth Force
I wish as well, but no rocks on right and limited space for composition.
Thanks

Re: Stainforth Force
Oh, I suspected as much Martin. I know you would have got 'em if they had been there.

I love the water and rocks but I find the sky and leaves don't sit so easily with my eye being bright as they are
