Keep on movin' on
I've been having a think about my imagery again and during some recent PP sessions find myself moving even darker (with the odd splash of light here and there!) to take my work further away from reality.
It may sound strange but sometimes, when I dream, I 'see' a strange kind of illumination in the scenes/places I find myself and I feel like I'm trying to somehow re-create that light...I'm experimenting again
Some of the images I will be posting are re-works of oldies and some are new. I realise they won't be to everyones taste but it's where I am at the moment and I am, of course, grateful for your honest comments/thoughts on this movement.
--- Regards
Steve

Re: Keep on movin' on
Sometimes I try different styles of editing Steve, some work, probably most don't for viewers, but as long as you keep pushing the boundaries to match your artistic vision then keep doing it for your own sake. I find this image rather intriguing and it makes me stop and look and wonder with regards content and presentation through the editing process. I for one look forward to see how your dreams and edits merge...now it's getting late so off to bed with you with a cup of hot chocolate.

Re: Keep on movin' on
As a confirmed member of the dark side I shall be following your experiments with great interest in the hope of emulating your skills.
I don't think I seen a better photograph of St Pauls.
Have you checked out Adore Noir magazine (online)? There is some dark stuff there.
--- Thanks for viewing, Mike
I always welcome critique of my images but prefer to try recommended edits myself.

I really like this, lovely controlled edit and attention paid to the grey scale.

Re: Keep on movin' on
First: I am one of those people who actually remember dreams after waking up and this capture is close to dreams. So well done!
Than artistically ... I'd hang it on my wall without any hesitation. Then let the rest of the visitors wonder about my sanity.
Now let's see one of your nightmares

There really isn't much more that I can add to the above, I agree with all of it, excellent shot and processing.
