Re: Avatar -not the film....
Hi Ian,
Doesn't seem to work for me. I'm hosting with Flickr and I've tried all three codes they provide and I get this message when I post into the 'My Avatar' field;
pers_icon: Must not contain spaces
pers_icon: Invalid avatar address
pers_icon: Maximum valid length is 150
or some variation of it.
Cheers
--- Regards
Steve

Re: Avatar -not the film....
Why is Flickr so hard to share pictures , its like they don't want anyone to post elsewhere, ask in the help forums Steve
--- "After that shutter closes it’s all over. The physical light captured on film is all that is left, a history of light preserved in chemical form, and I have to move on to the next one."

Re: Avatar -not the film....
Steve, make sure that BBCode is ticked in the post box on this forum.
Open the image in Flickr, click the share icon (curved arrow) and from the pop-up box click on BBCode. Copy the code and paste it directly into the message box in the forum new post box.
Your image should appear.

Re: Avatar -not the film....
No, you are correct it won't load into the avatar box using the method I described.
Here's a work around for you. Send me the avatar image and I'll upload it to one of my sites and give you a link that you can then use.
